I’d like to thank everyone who visited my show over the weekend. It was great to see you all and talk about my work. It almost became one big critique for which I enjoyed immensely, thankyou.
For those of you that purchased work, thankyou for your support and i hope you enjoy them as much as i enjoyed creating them. I shall be updating my website over the next week with my latest work from the last 4 months, so keep a look out and feel free to subscribe to my monthly newsletter. Thanks again.

Over the last few months I’ve been working primarily on more drawing based work rather than the large pieces on wood and taken the opportunity with christmas approaching to fill the shop with many new goodies for that extra special stocking filler. Amongst these are three new linocuts continuing the catboy theme, some Giclée fine art prints of catboy paintings and an array of small ( 4" x 5" ) works on paper taken from a random list of words and themes, with more added over the next 2 weeks.
For those of you in the Walthamstow area I will be selling this work at the E17 Designers Xmas Market this coming Friday (28th November) at the Asian Centre on Orford Road
( opposite the Village Kitchen), 7 - 10pm. And if you say the magic word " Meow" you will get a 20% discount.
Hope to see some of you there, best wishes, Carl Harris

The larger pieces on wood can be at the best of times quite taxing and indeed time consuming. So for the next few months i will be doing alot more drawing on paper, start establishing some naratives for future short story projects.

Catboy with the circus convoy in the background. I need to start putting him in a scene, give him a backdrop for which his naratives will start to take place.

I’ve had many enquiries as to when limited edition prints will be available for purchase. These should hopefully be available by the end of the month. These will be full size prints ( approx: 30″ x 24″ including border for framing) on Hahnemuhle 300gsm cotton rag paper, signed, dated and numbered. The price will be £125 inc postage. If anyone is interested please drop me a quick mail so i can get an idea of numbers or if you’d like to preorder you can do so at my shop. Thanks.

I’d like to thank everyone who came to visit my Catboy exhibition on the E17 Art Trail on Orford road over the weekend. I was overwhelmed with the fantastic response I received and the many positive comments left by many people was most encouraging, thank you.
I must admit by the end of Sunday I was a bit tongue-tied. I must have told the story of Catboy and explained my art to around 200 people, but enjoyed every minute of it.
There is nothing more rewarding than creating pictures, showing them to people
and then getting the warm response as I did at the weekend. The Art Trail was a great opportunity to meet and talk so many people, but also to get to know my neighbours and to make new friends.
